For the first time, a new filing deadline applies to 2018 income tax returns: Corresponding returns prepared by consultants must be submitted to the tax office regularly by the last day of February 2020, except for advance requirements.

In order to meet this deadline, care must be taken to ensure that all relevant documents (which may still be outstanding) are provided in good time with a view to completing the tax return.
